This is one of world's oldest massage practices. The style offered is 'ancient Thai massage'. It is entirely authentic as your therapist was trained by a Thai Master at the highly respected 'Institute of Thai Massage' in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

Thai massage is a floor-based therapy, with the client lying comfortably on a padded yoga mattress. Apart from bare feet, there is no need to undress, though loose fitting clothing is recommended. Whatever you would wear in the gym is fine. No oils are used, as the massage is applied through clothes.

There are two styles of Thai massage, Northern and Southern. The Southern style tends to use more pressure and feels more invasive. Your therapist is trained in the Northern style, which is a pleasant blend that retains the Thai quality whilst toning down many of the 'painful' moves.

It is important to address some common myths associated with Thai massage. Some clients associate this massage with painful moves like being walked over! Whilst in certain parts of Asia this may be true, it is not something you will experience with Blue Eye.
